Threefold stairway
Out
of one piece of marble a threefold stairway is made. The outermost
stairway is made with handheld machines and has several look-thru
options. The steps are differently sized and polished. This outermost
stairway rests on a thin tread and a single column that is placed on
the lower stairway. This lower stairway is carved with chisels and
later holes are drilled through. These holes are used as carriers for
the interior stairway. This interior stairway is made with the waste
parts of the outermost stairway. This interior stairway consists of
about 50 pieces and nowhere it touch the other stairways.
